My friend Joy asked me to do some pictures of her daughter, Addie, that just turned 3. Addie is so much fun, and I can't get enough of her big blue eyes! We actually ended up with a pretty nice day, and it was really great to catch up with Joy and Travis!

[I have been learning so much about my camera lately. There are endless things to know about it, and I love it. I finally got up enough nerves to start shooting in manual, and I think it is making all of the difference in the world. I always want to be improving in my work. Mikhaela & Cole

My friend Shonda contacted me about a month ago about doing pictures of her kids. They live in PA so they only make it back this way to visit friends and family every now and again..Shonda's family are missionaries' in Zimbabwe, Africa and she spent a lot of her childhood over there. I will never forget how exciting it was when they would come home and join us at our small church camps during the summers. So many good memories of sitting around the fire, or any where really, singing worship songs, fun songs, and laughing into the late hours of the night. Her and her parents, and siblings have been such a huge blessing in my life and it was so great to be able to catch up for a minute [which wasn't nearly long enough!]

Mikhaela & Cole are so sweet..and they tried to hang in there for me..Cole was running a fever and Mikhaela wasn't really liking the cold. [But then I don't think any of us were]

Abby & Andrew [engagement]

I did Abby and Andrew's engagement session a few weeks ago, and loved working with them!
I am so excited to shoot their wedding in Marion on June 26, 2010!

I couldn't help but post a lot of these..Adeline was just too cute ;) She was such a good sport..It was the perfect overcast [fall] day too..
These were taken on Mallory's grandmother's farm....and might I add..her grandma makes some awesome cookies!
