My most favorite time of the year..

[I've decided to give up the black borders around my blog pictures..sticking to simplicity. My apologies for the laziness of not wanting to correct the previous posts..Two kids leave me with little free time..and when I do get it I try to spend it wisely. Besides...I'm sure you all don't mind ;)]

Everything about this time of the year makes me smile. I find myself wanting to cozy up on the couch with a warm cup of hot cider, remote in hand..[and play] on comes Pride and Prejudice.

My husband and I got married in September and we had mums and white pumpkins as a big part of our wedding decor. I am simply in love. These are the purple mums I bought, normally I prefer white..maybe it's the simplicity..but this year I bought purple. Every time we pull into the drive I look at them and smile.
It was a perfect day today.
Fall is already going by to quickly.

Paul&Lisa engagement

I met Paul and Lisa through a mutual friend...needless to say they are from God. They are the kind of people you meet and you're like "yeah, we should be best friends"..haha. I new right away that we understood each other. Paul went on about my work, like he knew it better than me..I felt like a million bucks. He is so blessed to be getting hitched to Lisa. She is gorgeous, funny and smart[and he will get free haircuts for the rest of his life! ;)]..
we had a lot of fun getting to know each other at the engagement shoot..two hours of laughing and awkward homeless men asking for change[?].
I love the colors they chose for their session..I have always been in love with mismatched..bold..and fun colors. I think it definitely reflects their personalities as well! Their wedding is scheduled for February 6th..and I CANNOT WAIT! Lisa just recently emailed me a picture of her Amazing dress [understatement]...ahhhh..Paul..your mouth will fall to the ground, and that's all I can say because the rest is a secret ;) I can't wait to capture it. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share a part in this exciting time of your lives!

Lisa, Andy & Luke

Lisa contacted me a few weeks ago about getting some pictures done of her son Luke. An extremely handsome fellow ;) It took him a while to warm up to me[and that big black thing in his face] but we eventually got him to crack a few smiles..I had a lot of fun meeting them, beautiful family. These were at carriage hill...great location for pictures! [and I always run into other photographer's there] I love the country feel and wood textures are always right up my alley..

I had to post a lot because there were too many that I liked ;)

Ridge&Greenlee

I take pictures for my good friend Kristin every month..her kids are absolutely gorgeous. Ridge was also chosen by Ford modeling to travel and do some shoots and could've modeled for baby gap, children's place etc..they had to turn the offer down because of various reasons..but he is about the cutest kid I know ;) [and definitely ALL boy..I want him to marry my daughter..haha]

My friend Andrea just had a little boy...he is so precious[as you can see]. Kind of makes me want another one. But I just had one...

My New BLOG!!

Ok ok ok...so if you have been keeping up with my website at all you have probably noticed that I have been changing it frequently. I have been working on a few different designs in photoshop and finally think I may have found one that I really like. I drew the hearts for the newest design, mostly because they represent "fun" or maybe it's just kid"ish" which seems good in my mind.. My style has been described by my good friends as "glamorous ghetto", which is somewhat funny because I grew up in the country...but I'll take it as a huge compliment. Anything with the word glamorous is a compliment right?

Anyhow..I think blogs serve an important purpose and I have been wanting one for a while[I have an obsession with looking at wedding blogs]. Originally I was looking into buying one through wordpress.org, but when I realized I could make one just as nifty through blog spot for free[yes I said free!] I opted for the latter..So I will be posting pictures on here frequently to keep you all updated so make sure to check back every now and again!
